This is the 16th workshop in a series that will be offered by the Center for Academic Excellence at Global University.

WHY JOIN US?

Today almost all organizations are witnessing fundamental changes in the role of a leader. The leader is no longer viewed as a boss, an evaluator or a critic….,but rather as a partner, a facilitator, a supporter, and a coach.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

In this workshop participants will learn about Situational Leadership, the most widely taught leadership model in the world. It teaches leaders to use the appropriate leadership style in response to the needs of the person and the situation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

(1) Diagnose the development levels of employees and choose the appropriate leadership style, (2) increase the frequency and quality of conversations about performance and development, (3) become a flexible leader who is highly skilled at goal setting, coaching, performance evaluation, active listening, feedback, and proactive problem solving.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Principals, Supervisors and Coordinators; Individuals in leadership roles who want to increase their effectiveness.
